It’s time to end the practice of private businesses using our schools as their own captive data mining source. Students and teachers have a right to not have their every key stroke tracked, their personal information collected and shared outside the district, their private thoughts, feelings and actions cataloged, examined and scored in lesson plans. Representative Curtis Trent has introduced HB592, the School Data Privacy bill.
